The skilled artisans in Glen Eden's state-of-the-art fabrication center are experts in woven, tufted, and binding fabrication.

A. Rugs are cut symmetrically by hand

B. All borders are hand-mitered and assembled from the back to ensure proper seam alignment

C. Tapestry miters are checked for quality

D. Heavy duty scrim and hot-melt glue are applied

E. All borders are hand beveled

At Glen Eden, we believe it's the little things that make the difference in a high quality rug. That's why we take the following steps on every rug we fabricate:

1. Binding tape is applied prior to serging all lengths to ensure a clean, consistent, and finished edge. (See photo f and g. See photo h for serging without binding tape)

2. Glen Eden guarantees an accurate color match for the yarn and binding thread.

3. A felt backing is applied to every rug to protect the rug and the floor. (See photo i)

4. All rugs that need more than two inches of binding tape on the surface of the rug will have mitered corners. (See photo j)
